Andover Model Railway Club has been in existence for 40+ years. We currently have a membership of 30/35 members. Our club room is situated in the Chantry Centre in Andover town centre. We are open 24/7 but restricted to the opening hours of the Chantry Centre. The exception to this is on a Wednesday evening when we have our main club night until 10pm.
We cater for all the main scales in model railways. We have three OO layouts. One is to universal standards, the other two are to fine scale and in the course of construction. For children we have a small Thomas layout which we take to local fetes and exhibitions. In the course of construction there is an N gauge layout. For O gauge there is an exhibition layout (currently mothballed). We also have test tracks for the three main scales.
